Herb Garden, Part 2

I've had this post in my Drafts for a couple days, but a lot has happened so I forgot. First things first, my herb garden is doing great! It is done and on the wall. And 2 of the seeds have germinated in less than a week - arugula & thyme. Pics below...

Next news is that my sister, Tina (aka Blinker), had a birthday on March 7th. As a b-day gift, we had a "sister date", as we call it. We got tats and went to eat dinner. We had been talking about the ink for years, and the stars finally aligned enough for us to do it. Mine is on my right hip & her's on her left. I'm the big sis, and she is the lil sis. Pics are below. (These were taken the day of, so there is still a lot of healing to do.)

And I got Stick decked out for Easter. Stick is my hubby's, Mike, grandfather's first deer. Our agreement/arrangement was that he could hang it in the living room if I could "pimp him out" as I see fit. It really did start off very simple, but it's just so much fun and he truly makes me smile. So Stick has become an icon. He even had a Facebook fan following until I deleted Facebook. And he has an entire closet basket full of his own decor, and I buy more frequently. Isn't he a handsome & festive fellow?! ROFL!!!

And two more, kinda personal, pieces of news. First is that my hubby actually asked me out on a date! I'm not going into specifics, but we've been struggling a lot lately. So this step is HUGE considering where we've been at for awhile. Second news is that we (me, the DA, & my son) finally agreed on a plea arrangement. Again, no specifics here, but just know that the incident literally ripped my entire family apart (3 generations). So after a year of drama and court and testimony and BS, it is finally over! God, this is such a HUGE relief off my shoulders, I cannot even explain!
